Talking Simpsons #395: Co-Dependent’s Day

Co-Dependent’s Day, the 15th episode of season 15 and the 328th overall, was first broadcasted on March 21, 2004 with a script by Matt Warburton and directed by Bob Anderson.

Homer and Marge’s bond becomes stronger when they both get drunk on wine, but soon the bond unravels when Homer blames Marge for crashing the car and Marge gets sent to rehab. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa complain to Randall Curtis (a George Lucas-esque science fiction movie director) about his latest film.

Granted, the Star Wars parody storyline was funny enough on its’ own. However, that’s barely half of the episode and the majority of this episode is nothing but pure crap. No, really, there’s nothing interesting about the main plot of this episode whatsoever and Homer in this comes off as the most unlikeable he’s ever been…and that’s saying a whole lot.
