The brand new trailer for Beauty & The Beast is here.

Beauty and the Beast is in theaters March 17, 2017.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Once again, much like the first trailer, this new trailer definitely showcases a lot of what made the original Beauty & The Beast work as well as it did, they’ve even gotten a lot of the lines and scenes from the original movie locked down here. The trailer definitely looks like a live-action version of the animated movie.

The casting in this looks really solid, Emma Watson as Belle, Kevin Kline as Maruice, Dan Stevens as the Beast, the voice work by Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, all of them really feel like they fit into their roles. Hell, Dan Stevens sounded a lot like Robby Benson did in the original film as the Beast.

There’s definitely so much about this trailer to admire, you get the feel, the mystic, and the story of the original movie done in a live-action format and it looks spectacular, the visuals look great, the casting looks great, the music sounds really good, this is definitely one of the can’t wait to see films for 2017.
