Talking Simpsons #419: Sleeping With The Enemy

Sleeping With The Enemy, the 3rd episode of season 16 and the 338th overall, was first broadcasted on November 21, 2004 with a script by Jon Vitti and directed by Lauren MacMullan.

Feeling unappreciated by her own children, Marge takes in Nelson as her surrogate child. Meanwhile, Lisa becomes self-conscious of her weight after the girls in school make fun of her butt and purposely starves herself in order to be skinny.

This one’s kind of another mess, the two stories don’t really come together well even though the main story with Marge and Nelson has a lot of potential to work with but it just doesn’t really come together…meanwhile the other subplot, I don’t know what the purpose of that one was. It was just there to fill the time because it doesn’t really deliver on anything, it’s a waste, there’s nothing about that second subplot that really comes together.
