CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Yeah, can’t really top last year’s Christmas yell and certainly can’t top anyone like Nostalgia Critic’s Christmas yells but hey, CHRISTMASTIME!!!!

It’s the best time of the year, Christmastime and that means Christmas themed posts all month…maybe not as many as in the past since we’ve pretty much covered everything up to this point but nevertheless, we’ve got Christmas themed posts this month among other things to announce for the first time here so without further ado, let’s get to it starting with what’s ahead this month from us:

TATM: TALKIN’ ABOUT THE MOVIES

This month, we begin with two new The Year In Movies posts for 1998 and 1997 plus reviews for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Office Christmas Party and the much anticipated top 10 best movies of 2016 list.

THE MAGICAL WORLD OF DISNEY

A series of Disney Christmas films including the not-often-talked-about One Magic Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, and Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse.

THE REVIEWING NETWORK LIVE

This month’s selections are Kubo & The Two Strings, The Polar Express, Elf, & A Christmas Story.

MY TAKE ON…

This month, we’ll look at the real reasons why the NFL ratings are down this year, who were the big breakout stars of 2016, what movies am I looking forward to in 2017 and just an overall assessment of why 2016 was such a sucky year.

MOVIES IN MY COLLECTION

This month, you’ll see two In Defense Of… posts for a pair of Christmas movies, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York and Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights plus the 20th anniversary of Beavis & Butt-Head Do America and the 25th anniversary of JFK.

ARROW & THE FLASH

A look at new episodes of Arrow & The Flash and a continued look at Arrow season 2 and Legend Of Tomorrow season 1.

TATM CLASSICS

It’s the final month of TATM Classics as you’ll see below, for the final time, classic reviews debuting this month include Wall-E, Wall Street Money Never Sleeps, Wanted, Warm Bodies, Watchmen, Water For Elephants, The Weather Man, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, We’re The Millers, What Happens In Vegas, Where The Wild Things Are, Winnie The Pooh, The Wolf Of Wall Street, World Trade Center, The World’s End, World War Z, Wreck It Ralph, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, the X-Men movies, Your Highness, and Zoom.

And then, that’ll be it for TATM Classics.

TV SHOWCASE

This month, a look at the 25th and 26th episodes of Girls, the 9th episode of Veep, the 25th episode of Mad Men, and the 6th episode of Halt & Catch Fire.

THE TALK ABOUT NOTHING

A look at more season six episodes of Seinfeld.

THE TV WEEKLY

This month, we’ll take a look at why you should be watching Steven Universe right now, we’ll also present a new installment of my favorite TV shows, the fourth part of that looking at #51 to #60 on my list, another look at classic Christmas television with another salute to broadcast network campaigns, and finally, the best and worst of television in 2016.

TALKING SIMPSONS

A good majority of season 16 will be covered this month plus we’ll look at two new episodes, Last Traction Hero and The Nightmare After Krustmas.

DO YOU REMEMBER?

This month, more holiday classics including Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, which watching it again this week…has a pretty weird story to it when you look at it again. Plus, the specials Robbie The Reindeer, a Christmas movie directed by Arnold Schwarzenegger of all people, The Legend Of Frosty The Snowman, and Rudolph’s Shiny New Year.

WHO’S THE BETTER FRANCHISE?

This month’s special holiday themed battle takes a look at which Miracle On 34th Street movie was better, the 1947 film or its’ 1994 remake. The answer comes on Saturday December 17th.

ACTORS’ SPOTLIGHT

This month, we’ll profile the film works of Jason Bateman, Zooey Deschanel, Forest Whitaker, and Chris Pratt.

THE MUSIC ROOM

This month’s new Music Room will be posted on Monday December 26th as we’ll look at the top 10 worst Christmas songs of all time. Because after the holiday rush, you’ll need something to tide you over with the post holiday blues.

THE REVIEWING NETWORK’S FAVORITE MOVIES

Movies we’ll look at include Clerks, Tommy Boy, Fargo, Source Code, and American Beauty.

MORE TO SAY

This month, we’ll look at The Finest Hours, finally get my long delayed reviews of Almost Christmas & Arrival out there, the holiday dreck that is Deck The Halls, and finally, New Year’s Eve, a movie that I have not talked about before but to hell with it, why not end the year with this pile of garbage.

BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES EPISODIC REVIEWS COMING IN 2017 FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY

As we are entering DC-Ember right now, let’s look ahead to 2017 as it will be the 25th anniversary of the series that started it all, Batman: The Animated Series.

My original plan was to have it be a month long event for DC-Ember 2017 but I figure that I’ll save that for something else for now.

But starting on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2017, we’ll be taking a look at every Batman: The Animated Series episode, all 85 episodes with an episode being reviewed every day for the first 85 days of 2017.

If successful, I’ll also think about looking into episodic reviews for the other Bruce Timm produced animated series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League if the demand is there.

TATM CLASSICS FINAL MONTH COMING UP THIS MONTH

We’re coming down to the end of the TATM Classics series, next month will be the final month of all my classic reviews being posted up and will end with a full week featuring the final 14 reviews to be posted starting Christmas Day, December 25th and going all the way to December 31st.

After that, the Favorite Movies posts will fill in the slot that was held by TATM Classics.
