Before we begin, Merry Christmas to everybody as this is coming out on Christmas Day. With that said, Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League:
Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League is a direct-to-video Computer animated comedy film based on the Lego and DC Comics brands, released on February 10, 2015 on Blu-ray and DVD. This is the third Lego DC Comics film following Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite and Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered. Some actors from various DC properties reprise their respective roles, including Nolan North as Superman, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Diedrich Bader as Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) and Tom Kenny as The Penguin and Plastic Man.
SUPERMAN’S clone, BIZARRO, has become an embarrassing problem. Chaos and destruction follow Bizarro everywhere as he always hears the opposite of what is said, says the opposite of what he means and does the opposite of what is right. And when the citizens of Metropolis keep confusing Bizarro with Superman, the Man of Steel decides it’s time to find a new home for him…on another planet! It’s up to The Justice League to come to terms with their backward counterparts and team up with them to stop Darkseid and save the galaxy.
Unlike Batman Be-Leagured, this is actually back to what I kind of admired about DC Super Heroes Unite. For the most part, it is a really solid enjoyable movie, once again, you have some really nice animation, it’s a very silly and over the top film, the action sequences are very solid, the voice cast is really good in this, a lot of them are returning from the previous movie and the jokes are still pretty solid here, this is a script penned by Michael Jelenic and not David A. Goodman again and much like Super Heroes Unite, the movie is a solid film, kids would definitely get a kick out of this and there’s even a couple of decent jokes adults would probably get. About on par with Super Heroes Unite, give it a watch and enjoy.
