Scooby-Doo Meets Batman

Yeah, cheating a bit here because this is just an episode of The New Scooby Doo Movies TV series and not really a movie but, what the hell, we’ll take a look at it, this is Scooby Doo Meets Batman:

There are actually two episodes where Scooby Doo met Batman & Robin, the first is the second episode, The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair, Mystery Inc. teams up with Batman and Robin to uncover a counterfeiting ring run by a strange hooded figure who has been sending counterfeit money to the Joker and the Penguin. And in the 15th episode of season one, they would meet up again in The Caped Crusdader Caper, Mystery Inc. teams up with Batman and Robin when Professor Flaky is kidnapped by Joker and Penguin.

The New Scooby Doo Movies had pretty much the same plot each episode, Scooby & the gang would be out on their normal mysteries and would come across a different celebrity each time around to help along the way, celebrities such as Sandy Duncan, The Three Stooges, The Addams Family, The Harlem Globetrotters, Josie & The Pussycats, Tim Conway, Don Adams, Speed Buggy, Dick Van Dyke, and many more.

In the case of these Batman & Robin crossover episodes, you do get everything you’d expect you would get, you get to see Scooby & the gang teaming up with Batman & Robin, here voiced by Olan Soule and Casey Kasem, taking on The Joker & The Penguin. It’s fun to watch these characters interact off of one another, good animation, good voice work, some funny moments, it’s everything you could ask for and more, not much more to say but definitely check it out if you want to see Scooby Doo hanging out with The Dark Knight.
