Arrow & The Flash #68: Arrow #35: Tremors / Legends Of Tomorrow #14: River Of Time

River Of Time, the 14th episode of Legends Of Tomorrow, was first broadcasted on May 5, 2016 with a script by Cortney Norris & Anderson Mackenzie and directed by Alice Troughton.

Upon the revelation that the Leviathan was technology from the distant future, proving Savage has manipulated time, Rip believes the Time Masters will finally ratify his mission and sets course for the Vanishing Point. Jefferson fixes the damaged time drive, but is exposed to time radiation which ages him prematurely. Stein is forced to send him back to 2016 in the jump ship to reverse the process. Carter, now named Scythian Torvil, is kept prisoner while Kendra tries to restore his memories, causing a rift between her and Ray which effectively ends their relationship. Savage tries to manipulate some of the team members, allowing him to escape his cell. Just as Savage is about to kill Kendra, Scythian regains his memories as Carter and saves her, but is stabbed by Savage before Kendra knocks the latter unconscious. The team arrives at the Vanishing Point, where the Time Masters reveal that they have been working with Savage, who is to be sent back to 2166 to carry on with his plan while Rip and his team are put under arrest.

A really good episode, a lot of strong action sequences, good character arcs, good acting, a really solid episode.

Tremors is the 35th episode of Arrow and the 12th of season two, first broadcasted on January 29, 2014 with a script by Marc Guggenheim & Drew Z. Greenberg and directed by Guy Bee.

Ben Turner escapes from prison with assistance from arms dealer Milo Armitage, who also pays him to steal a prototype of Malcolm’s earthquake device. Oliver tells his teammates that Slade got angry when he found out how Shado died, as Slade was in love with her, and attacked the former, who put an arrow in his eye. Arrow tracks down the device and is forced to reveal his identity to Roy in order to get his help in destroying the device. Meanwhile, Laurel learns that she may be disbarred because of her addiction and spirals further out of control. Oliver convinces Sara to reveal herself to Laurel. In addition, Walter convinces Moira to run for mayor against Blood; and she states that it is necessary for the campaign that it not be revealed that Thea is not Robert’s biological daughter. Moira reveals that her obstetrician knows the truth and he needs to be dealt with. A.R.G.U.S. agent Amanda Waller propositions Turner to commute his sentence in exchange for him joining a “squad” she is forming. In flashbacks, Oliver stops Slade from destroying Ivo’s freighter with Fyers’ missile launcher. They plan to capture the freighter.

A pretty solid episode, nothing too great or too horrible about this one, just overall enjoyable.
