MY TAKE ON…
This month, we’ll discuss why the NBC late night transition between Jay Leno & Conan O’Brien didn’t work the first time around, ponder if there has ever been a good film spinoff, ask why we dumb down advertising, and our annual summer movie season predictions.
MOVIES IN MY COLLECTION
This month, we’ll look at Dave Chappelle’s brand new Netflix specials, the return of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the new Drew Barrymore Netflix comedy series, Santa Clarita Diet, and the 18th update of my DVD & Blu-Ray collection.

DO YOU REMEMBER?

THE UNTITLED BETTER CALL SAUL POSTING
The return of the Better Call Saul post when the series returns for season three on April 10th with Mabel followed by Witness the next week.
ARROW & THE FLASH & TV SHOWCASE CANCELLED
You might be wondering why there was no updates on Arrow & The Flash or TV Showcase and well, there is a reason for that.
This last week, I did some thinking about how to improve the overall site itself and that includes trimming some of the fat of the site, i.e. the stuff that hasn’t panned out as well as I hoped it would.
So, that’s why Arrow & The Flash and TV Showcase had to be the two casualties because honestly, they just weren’t living up to the potential I had set them up to be when I developed them.
The Talk About Nothing was one that I was close to getting rid of too but I’m more than halfway through the series, I’m midway into season seven as of this posting and there’s still 2 and a half seasons left so, The Talk About Nothing will be staying put and if things go as I predict, I will have finished Seinfeld by the end of December.
So, now on Wednesdays you will only see Actors’ Spotlight and Thursdays will be The Reviewing Network’s Favorite Movies & The Talk About Nothing.
BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES EPISODIC REVIEWS STARTING TODAY
2017 will be the 25th anniversary of the series that started it all, Batman: The Animated Series.
My original plan was to have it be a month long event for DC-Ember 2017 but I figure that I’ll save that for something else for now.
We’re gonna start doing those episodic reviews starting on today, we’ll be taking a look at every Batman: The Animated Series episode, all 85 episodes with an episode being reviewed every day for 85 days in 2017.
If successful, I’ll also think about looking into episodic reviews for the other Bruce Timm produced animated series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League if the demand is there.
SPORTS PREVIEW COMING ON THIS WEEK’S THE WEEKLY ADDRESS
On this week’s The Weekly Address, there will be a test post to see how the new sports themed post will play out so be on the look out for that in this week’s post as I’ll be talking about the Tony Romo quarterback situation going on right now.
NICKELODEON MOVIES REVIEWS COMING SOON
With how successful my Nicktoons reviews last year went, I figure what the hell, at some point in the next couple of months, I will take a look at the Nickelodeon Movies and do special reviews for them. Maybe around May I’ll get to them.
Speaking of May…
MARVELOUS MAY 2017 LINEUP REVEALED
By this time next month, it will be the third Marvelous May and this time around, we’re gonna be taking a look at the Marvel movies released since the last Marvelous May, Doctor Strange, Logan, the Deadpool short that was in front of Logan, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. Plus, we’ll look at the latest episodes of Agents Of SHIELD plus episodic reviews for Netflix’s Luke Cage and yes, even the hotly polarizing Iron Fist. And maybe we’ll even look at some other Marvel stuff to fill out the month, a full lineup will be released in the next State Of The Reviewing Network.
With that said, that’s going to wrap up the State Of The Reviewing Network for the month of March. Be sure to check back on Monday May 1st for the State Of The Reviewing Network for the month of April.
