Talking Simpsons #517: Homer & Lisa Exchange Cross Words

Homer & Lisa Exchange Cross Words was first broadcasted on November 16, 2008 with a script by Tim Long and directed by Michael Polcino.

Lisa becomes obsessed with crossword puzzles and enters a contest, where Homer places bets against his daughter in order to earn money lost from his couples break-up business.

One of the better Lisa Simpson centered storylines the show has done, I liked how creative they got with the concept of her becoming obsessed with crossword puzzles and it leads to a lot of the conflicts that are nicely executed between her and Homer and the ending is a nice little moment for the series. There’s need to be more episodes like this.
