Let’s wrap up Batman Beyond and look at the series finale, Unmasked, first broadcasted on December 18, 2001 (which was originally suppose to be September 14, 2001 but was delayed because of…obviously…the 9/11 attacks and the fact that the episode had terrorism elements to it), was written by Hilary J. Bader and directed by Kyung-Won Lim.
Terry recounts to Max one of his earlier adventures as Batman, during which he revealed his face to a child and inadvertently made the boy a target of KOBRA.
As far as a final episode goes, the show does go out on a pretty good note with an action packed and nicely put together episode, the animation is really good, the story is well-written, you have an excellent amount of tension and chills, they deliver on a high note and give the series a good finale to go out on, not quite Judgment Day excellent or Legacy good, it gives you what you can ask for and thensome.
