The Unkindest Cut was first broadcasted on May 13, 2018 with a script by Mark Hentemann and directed by Jerry Langford.
On a boat trip with his friends, Quagmire is attacked by a shark, and loses his penis in the attack; as such, he struggles with living without his most treasured body part. Ida Davis helps to get his life back on track. Meanwhile, Stewie and Brian try to find Mort after they discover that the FBI has put a reward on him, due to him being involved in a drug scam.
An episode that is pretty bland and mediocre despite the promise of the Quagmire plot, the episode never really gets going to a point where the episode really turns around and becomes funny, it just never transpires, the episode just kind of falls flat when it matters the most.
