Lift is a 2024 American heist comedy film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Daniel Kunka. The film stars Kevin Hart (who also served as a producer), Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno, and Sam Worthington.

Lift was released on Netflix on January 12, 2024.

An international heist crew, led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart), race to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet. Directed by F. Gary Gray and starring Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, and Sam Worthington.

Okay, one, Kevin Hart, just because you were in Die Hart with John Travolta doesn’t mean you are capable of starring in an action movie and two…..good lord, F. Gary Gray’s career has careened off the cliff since Fate Of The Furious, hasn’t it?

This is a terrible movie, even for Netflix, this is pathetically bad, just a watered down mix of both Ocean’s Eleven and Tower Heist with humor that isn’t funny, characters that aren’t likeable, a plot that gets too stupid for its’ own good, action sequences that that amazing or epic, this is such a horrible, horrible movie, one of the year’s worst movies easily.
